RHSE and Personal Development Days
Relationship, Health and Sex Education (RHSE) and personal development days are key parts of our overall curriculum.
Within the RHSE and personal development curriculum, the knowledge is powerful because it is designed to equip students with the tools they need to live happy, safe and successful lives by giving them exposure to knowledge and experiences that will help them respond to the contextual challenges facing their own lives and their community. We want to ensure that students end their academic journey having curious, enquiring minds, are equipped with the tools to navigate and thrive in our rapidly changing world and are unafraid to challenge injustice.
Students in KS3 and KS5 receive a term of RHSE and two full personal development days.
Students in Year 10 receive a term of RHSE and one personal development day.
Students in Year 11 receive a term of RHSE.
All RHSE and personal development day lessons are related to the 7 habits of a highly successful teen by Sean Covey.
