Catering Information and Useful Links
Catering at this academy
The catering service is provided by Innovate, part of the Impact Food Group (IFG) who are a well-established and experienced school caterer. The service is provided under contract with the Harris Federation.
As well as their mainstream menu, Innovate have also developed an exciting bistro style Café offer for our Sixth Form students.
Both menus have been created using fresh and seasonal ingredients that are responsibly sourced, and ensures the food being served is healthy, full of variety and includes interesting things to try. All non-pork meat products are certified Halal. There are also themed menus including Harvest Week, Chinese New Year, Love British Food Fortnight, World Cultural Diversity Day, and many more.
Here is a link to the Eatwell Guide (from Public Health England) – this provides a useful overview of what food groups make up a balanced and healthy diet.
The academy uses a cashless catering system for all food and drink purchases.
