Thurrock Foodbank Harvest Festival Food Drive 2021.

Tfb logo 2021 v2We were proud to support Thurrock Foodbank by contributing to the 2021 Thurrock Foodbank Harvest Festival drive, to support local families in crisis.

Thurrock Foodbank is truly an important lifeline to many local people.  We firmly believe that nobody should face going hungry.

Thanks to the fantastic support from our families we were able to provide over 355kg of produce which was combined into food parcels to give to families that were referred to them.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

Macmillan logo 1440x720 crop q70The first ever Coffee Morning happened way back in 1990. It was a rather small affair with a simple idea: guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan in the process. It was so effective, they did it again the next year – only this time nationally.

Since then, Coffee Morning has raised over £290 million for Macmillan.

HAOC are proud to be a regular supporter of this worthwhile charity.  Staff and students are invited to make a donation of 50p (or more if they can) in exchange for a cake and a glass of juice which can be collected during break time.
